I'm looking to become a new rope and I came across a pretty skillful price on this rope. All the reviews for the non dry rope seem good, but when reading reviews for the dry out version, a decent amount of people are complaining about the immovability. I'k wondering if the non dry version likewise has durability issues, and if I should just become another Mammut rope that I know i'll like. I'one thousand attracted to this TC ane though because I would like to have a bi-blueprint. Whatever insight here is greatly appreciated. Flag Quote

When I got it I wasn't expecting much as I always had Sterling or Mammut before, but this TC rope took a lot of abuse and outlasted whatever of my other ones. Especially at the cost point, I recall it's a practiced purchase. Flag Quote

Got some fraying, but nearly ropes would see the aforementioned wear. I wouldn't categorize it as potent. It's a normal rope in both stiffness and immovability. Flag Quote |

I did not intendance for the handling characteristics of the TC rope, plus it looks exactly like 1 of my static ropes, which creeped me out when leading on it. I actually like my Sterling Development Helix bi-color treated rope. Mammut ropes are no longer made by Mammut or made in Switzerland. They have closed their rope mill in Switzerland. Mammut ropes are now made in Czech republic by a contract manufacturer. Similar to what BD and Petzl are doing. BD Flag Quote

Any large issues with kinking? Yeah its 25% off right now so I think information technology would be a expert buy. Flag Quote

I bet it has close to 100 pitches on it. It has held up incredible well. Information technology does get a little kinky if information technology isn't rapped on for a few weekends but everything comes out and its dorsum to perfect. Plus, you can't vanquish the highly visible bi-pattern when looking for the middle. I would recommend this rope for sure. Flag Quote |

It seems like overall information technology should be a pretty adept rope for me. In case anyone else is interested, the 60 meter is twoscore% off at Moosejaw with the code MMMPIE. Full was $120+Tax and free shipping, at that cost it was pretty hard to laissez passer up. Flag Quote
